360 Interviews
Open Doors 360 was a project produced by Sanbar’s Chasing the Light Studio in partnership with Damian Rayne of Muse Films and The Galleries Association, supported by the KCAW and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The film series, which was created and shared on YouTube over lockdown, bridged the gap between the physical space, heavily restricted at the time, and the creative psychological space of artists and audiences. The aim was to capture a “behind the scene” view of artists’ minds and their latest work through a 2-5 minute interview and 360 degrees virtual tour of their studio space. Artists could reach and connect with new audiences while simultaneously inspiring creativity within their communities. A range of artists were interviewed for this film series, including painters Kate Dowdy and Lucille Dweck; sculptors Danny Lane and Joe Rush; actor Terence Stamp; ballet dancer Mark Elie and more, capturing the limitless possibilities and expressions of art.
